The Syracuse Jazz Fest, held June 9th and 10th, is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. The 2017 show will also include an exhibit at the Onondaga Historical Museum with photos, articles, and video looking back on 35-years in performances. The exhibit will open this May and run through October, 2017.
Jazz Fest will return to Onondaga Community College (4585 W. Seneca Turnpike) in Syracuse. The 2017 festival will continue to be free and will be dedicated to the memory of Oscar L. Peterson Jr., the longtime board president of Jazz Fest, who passed away October 3rd of last year.
