Travel Today with Peter Greenberg: The Marriott Syracuse DowntownOn January 29th, Travel Today with Peter Greenberg was live from Syracuse, New York at the restored Marriott Syracuse Downtown. The hotel dates back to 1924 and is a great example of how to maintain and preserve a piece of history. Speaking of history, Frank Barrows, Superintendent of Fort Stanwix National Monument and overseeing Harriet Tubman Monument, talks about a side of Harriet Tubman that many of us do not know about, and how her efforts differ from those of Frederick Douglass. And Gregg Tripoli, Executive Director for the Onondaga Historical Association, shares the history of the Onondaga Lake, along with Philip Arnold, Associate Professor of Religion S.U. & Director of the Skä•noñh – Great Law of Peace Center, who shares the history of the Onondaga Nation and the impact that the Haudenosaunee (people of the Long House) have had on the formation of the United States as we know it.

There is all of this and more as Travel Today with Peter Greenberg comes from the legendary Marriott Syracuse Downtown in Syracuse, New York.
