Colin McVey is the Marketing & Communications Manager at the Onondaga
Historical Society, where he works to engage the community with the
region’s rich history. Before joining OHA, he held roles at the
National Women’s Hall of Fame, first as a Learning and Engagement
Coordinator and later as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator.
His experience spans educational program development, digital content
creation, and community outreach.
A graduate of Syracuse University, Colin earned a degree in
Communication and Rhetorical Studies with a focus on media and public
discourse. A lifelong resident of the Syracuse area, he is passionate
about making local history accessible and meaningful to the community.
