“All Love Comes Home” Book Signing by Gene Fisch
June 16, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Onondaga Historical Association is pleased to invite the community to a free public lecture and book signing by Gene Fisch. Join us at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 16th at the organization’s comprehensive history museum at 321 Montgomery Street in Downtown Syracuse.
“All Love Comes Home: A Promise of Truth” is part memoir, part tribute to the enduring love and lessons taught to the author by his parents – Polish immigrants who, with their children, escaped the brutality of war and decades-long occupation of Eastern Europe by the belligerent forces of the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany.
The author is best known as an outstanding basketball player in Syracuse’s Parochial League. He also was a member of the 1964 New York University squad that defeated Syracuse University’s Dave Bing and Jim Boeheim. He is also a member of the Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame, after his induction in 2011.
Published in 2012, “All Love Comes Home” maintains its relevance as the world responds to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
This is a free event, but be sure to RSVP. Please respond by Tuesday, June 14 to ohamuseum@cnyhistory.org or contact OHA at 315-428-1864 for more information.
